Terms of use
These terms govern your use of the South Florida Outdoor Guides website and matching service. By using the website or submitting a request, you agree to these terms.
Marketplace and matching role
South Florida Outdoor Guides provides marketing, inquiry routing, and guide-matching services. We do not operate the outdoor trips displayed on this website unless expressly stated otherwise in writing. Guides and outfitters are independent businesses responsible for their own services.
Requests are not bookings
Submitting a form does not create a reservation, guarantee availability, or establish a contract for a trip. A booking exists only after you and the operating guide agree to the guide's pricing, schedule, policies, waivers, payment terms, and other requirements.
Guide information and availability
Trip descriptions are general examples. Availability, locations, duration, equipment, capacity, pricing, and included services vary by guide and may change. Verify all material details directly with the operating guide before paying or traveling.
Safety, permissions, and legal compliance
Outdoor activities involve inherent risks. Customers must follow the operating guide's safety instructions and disclose relevant experience or limitations. Customers and guides are each responsible for following applicable federal, state, and local laws, property restrictions, landowner permissions, licensing rules, equipment rules, and humane wildlife practices.
Customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate contact, group, scheduling, and experience information.
- Confirm that every participant meets the guide's age, waiver, equipment, and safety requirements.
- Review the guide's cancellation, payment, weather, and refund policies before booking.
- Use the website and forms only for legitimate trip or partnership inquiries.
Guide responsibilities
Guide partners are responsible for maintaining any required licenses, permissions, insurance, equipment, training, and business records; accurately representing their services; screening customers; communicating material terms; and operating trips safely and lawfully.
Payments, cancellations, and disputes
Unless the marketplace expressly processes a payment and supplies separate written terms, payments are made directly between the customer and guide. The guide's cancellation and refund policies apply. Questions or disputes about an operated trip should first be directed to the guide.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the website, submit false or unlawful requests, interfere with website operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape personal information, or use site content in a misleading or infringing way.
Third-party services and links
The website uses third-party services and may link to guide, government, mapping, payment, or social-media sites. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party content or availability.
No guarantees
We do not guarantee a guide match, booking, wildlife encounter, harvest, weather condition, trip outcome, or uninterrupted website availability. The website and matching service are provided on an "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of responsibility
To the fullest extent permitted by law, South Florida Outdoor Guides is not responsible for the acts, omissions, representations, equipment, vehicles, property access, or trip operations of an independent guide or customer. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the marketplace develops. The effective date identifies the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
